Blaine BPA
Honors and Awards
Business Professionals of America (BPA) has an awesome Honors and Awards program on the Regional, State, and National Levels. Competition is available for Individuals, Teams, and Chapters. Blaine BPA has always actively participated in the awards area on all levels. The BPA Competition categories include:
- Workplace Skills Assessment Competition (Individuals)
- Torch Awards Program (Individuals)
- Team Competitions through Workplace Skills (2-4 individuals)
- Special Recognition
Regional Competition
The Blaine BPA group after the Regional Awards Banquet with all their individual, team, and chapter awards.
Twenty-one members qualified in events and where able to go on to the State Competitions. Besides numerous individual awards, Blaine took home three Chapter Honors. These honors were: BPA Marketing & Public Relations, Community Action, and Safety Awareness. Thang Vang was the second Blaine BPA student to earn the Entrepreneurship Exploration Award - Congratulations, Thang! Also, 29 members received their Torch Award.
State Competition
Nine Blaine BPA members qualified in events at State Competitions to go on to Nationals in Washington, D.C.! Blaine BPA also took home four Special Recognition Awards. These honors were: BPA Marketing & Public Relations, Community Action, Entrepreneurship Exploration, and Chapter Activities Award of Excellence.
National Competition
Nationals was May 3-8, 2011, in Washington, D.C.! Blaine BPA brought home four Special Recognition Awards! This was our BPA Nationals Crew for 2011. The highlight of the 2011 NLC was having our opening ceremony on the grounds of the Washington Monument! Our Website Design Team placed 10th - way to go Blaine BPA!
